Levon Grigorian is a partner with the Firm. His practice is primarily focused on various aspects of foreign investments in joint ventures, natural resources, telecommunications and other international projects, with an emphasis on Russia, Kazakhstan and other countries of the former Soviet Union.

Mr. Grigorian has served as counsel to large domestic and foreign public and private corporations and governments, working extensively on a number of major international oil and gas, mining, corporate, privatization and other commercial and nonprofit projects. He also has acted as counsel to various parties and as an expert witness in several substantial international arbitral and judicial proceedings.

Mr. Grigorian has participated in the drafting of several laws and regulations in Russia and other jurisdictions. He has authored a number of articles and presentations concerning international legal and business matters in Russia and the United States.

Prior to joining Tarlo & Partners, Mr. Grigorian practiced law for over 15 years in the United States at Akin Gump Strauss Hauer & Feld LLP, King & Spalding LLP and Mayer Brown LLP.
